Are Portable Universe any good for refurbished laptops?
I’m looking to buy a cheap Macbook white for the good battery life and general OS X experience but don’t want to spend more than £500.
I’ve come across a UK-based site called Portable Universe and they are apparently well-known for selling refurbished laptops.
Has anyone ordered from this site before?
I’m slightly worried because the Review Centre web site gives a mixture of good and bad reviews over the last year.

they are a very good company . I think you will be very hard pressed to find a company of any size without bad reviews this would be probably just as suspect. At least you know they are a genuine company!
