Apple’s expansion in China: with dirty footprint
According to news released on September 13th, another Apple Store (the fifth) emerges on the East-road of Nanjing Avenue in Shanghai. The symbolic icon has vividly displayed in front of the public.
It is reported that this Store will sell soft- and hardware products and relevant accessories, including I-phone, I-pad tablets and Mac computers. Besides, Genius bar included for after-sale repair.
In terms of business accounts of the second quarter this year, business turnover of China division has reached nearly a 6-fold increase, 3.8 billion dollar. Moreover, the fever of thousands of fans for I-phone products has ignited fiery selling, which would be verification for such excellent sale performance.
I-phone 5 stood its fans up, again. The press conference was scheduled to be held before mid-autumn vacation, but no news was brought by Apple. Even though, the fanatical followers have already through various ways booked it, whatever the price. It is predicted that until by the end of this year will I-phone 5 go to public in the mainland region.
In addition, the first Apple Store, located in the International Finance Centre (IFC) of Hong-Kong will debut on September 24th. The expansion can’t be stopped.
Poisonous Apple

On the one hand, some firms have not built up any relationships with the Apple, they are merely subcontracted; on the other hand, some other corporations used to be Apple’s supplier.
After persistent efforts, outline of the matter becomes more and more clear. For some confirmed polluting enterprises, rectification measures have been on the way. Some pollution sources on the contrary, refused to communicate with environmental groups. For the complex of supply chains, to attain exact details needs still time.
Depending on the government: far from enough
Fortunately, related laws are getting enforced. But they play only a role on this stuff. Because of limited punishments of laws, little sum of forfeiture can’t make firms upset. So some corporations would rather accept punishment than confront the problem. Supervision through accessory supplier, economic restriction through order may be good ways to contribute to environmental protection.
